Inploration — art exploring the wonder of space to deepen our understanding of the world we inhabit — arrives at Solid Sound as a live, participatory experience. Celebrated visual artist and co-author Richelle Ellis leads visitors through a guided creative activity, inviting each person to reflect, respond, and walk away seeing the sky a little differently. Detroit sound pioneers Infinite River (Gretchen Davidson, Warren Defever, and Joey Mazzola) perform a live, transportive sonic landscape, while acclaimed dance artist Jesse Dae Crist (LA Dance Project, 2024 Paris Olympic Games) gives the cosmos a living, moving form. Grounding it all, co-author and longtime Wilco designer/art director Lawrence Azerrad guides the Astronomer’s Meditation — an immersive journey through the universe that turns awe into action.
