The Largest Simultaneous Yo Yo

North Adams is already home to a few world records: the country’s largest contemporary art museum, the only Wilco-curated music festival, and now (potentially) the world’s largest simultaneous yo-yo event. It takes place Saturday, June 27th, 5:45-6:30pm at Joe’s Field.  To break the current record, the festival will need a minimum of 2,037 people spinning yo-yos together.

In partnership with Ben & Jerry’s and Duncan Toys Company, the festival will provide 5,000 special-edition yo-yos for participants, as well as samples of Ben & Jerry’s brand new Ice Cream Bars. Establishing global yo-yo records has never been this sweet! Attendees are also welcome to bring their own yo-yos from home. The event will be hosted by Western Massachusetts’ own John Higby—performer, yo-yo enthusiast, and multi-Guinness World Record holder himself.
