Inploration
Inploration is a space-arts initiative that uses music, movement, and conversation to help audiences feel the awe of the cosmos, and connect it back to life on Earth. For Solid Sound, Inploration presents a two-part experience: a brief, accessible conversation on The Overview Effect with space philosopher Frank White and MIT Media Lab’s Cody Paige, and a continuous 25-minute performance from Detroit experimental trio Infinite River, joined by dancers from School for Contemporary Dance & Thought.
Presented with support from Gretchen Davidson, Michigan Chairperson of the Council on Arts and Humanities.
