Jean Grae  

Jean Grae is a multidisciplinary artist in the highest sense of the term. With over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, this “gender transcendent” prolific creative juggernaut has defied boundaries, genres, and expectations at every turn into new careers. The composer, producer, director, actor, humorist, minister of her own non-religious “church for creatives” and former rapper now also leans into her years of authordom with her first book – In My Remaining Years (Flatiron) slated for winter 2025 release.  This old school New Yorker’s musical work also holds space in Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American Culture.
