This fall, Jeff Tweedy will release his third book, WORLD WITHIN A SONG: Music That Changed My Life and Life That Changed My Music (Dutton; On-sale: November 7), and today announces a book tour. Beginning with a hometown event in Chicago, Tweedy’s book tour includes stops in New York, Cincinnati, Washington, DC and more. Moderators include actor Nick Offerman, The New Yorker’s Amanda Petrusich, musician and archival curator Nathan Salsburg, and Michigan Radio’s April Baer, with more to be announced. Following previous best sellers Let’s Go (So We Can Get Back) and How To Write One Song, fans may be surprised to read that this new book, in Tweedy’s own words, “is the one I probably would have written first if I were more ambitious, and if I had been a little more clear-eyed about what I care most for in this world…Other people’s songs.”
